1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using QRated ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, don't use the App. Simple.
2. What QRated Does
QRated is a community-powered QR code and barcode security scanner. It helps you:
- See what's inside a QR code BEFORE opening it
- Check URLs against a database of known threats
- Vote on URLs to help protect the community
- Scan various barcode formats (EAN, Code128, etc.)
3. What QRated Does NOT Do
QRated is a tool to help you make informed decisions. It does NOT:
- Guarantee 100% protection against all threats
- Replace your own judgment and common sense
- Provide legal, financial, or security advice
- Block or prevent you from opening URLs
⚠️ If you choose to open a URL marked as "Dangerous" or "Suspicious", that's on you. We warned you.
4. Community Voting & Code of Conduct
🤝 The Community Philosophy
"Others protect YOU" means YOU also protect others. Vote honestly. Vote responsibly.
When you vote on a URL, you agree to:
- Vote honestly – Only mark URLs as dangerous if they actually are
- Not manipulate – Don't create fake votes or game the system
- Not abuse – Don't use voting to harm competitors or for personal vendettas
Abuse of the voting system may result in:
- Removal of your voting privileges
- Invalidation of your hashID
- Permanent ban from the service
5. hashID
Your hashID is your anonymous identifier in the QRated ecosystem. It:
- Is automatically generated on first use
- Contains no personal information
- Is linked to your device
- Can be reset if needed (but your votes will be lost)
6. Privacy
We take privacy seriously. Really seriously. See our Privacy Policy for full details. The short version: #notyourdata.
7. Intellectual Property
QRated, the QRated logo, and all related content are owned by Desteba Productions, S.L. The threat database and community voting data are proprietary. Don't copy, scrape, or redistribute without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
QRated is provided "as is" without warranties. We are NOT liable for:
- Damages from using (or not using) our security recommendations
- False positives or false negatives in threat detection
- Any actions you take based on community votes
- Loss of data, income, or anything else
9. Updates & Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll post the new version here. Continued use = acceptance of new terms.
10. Termination
We can terminate your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using the App anytime (but why would you?).
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Alicante, Spain.

1. Annahme der Bedingungen
Durch das Herunterladen, Installieren oder Nutzen von QRated ("die App") stimmst du diesen AGB zu. Wenn du nicht zustimmst, nutze die App nicht. Einfach.
2. Was QRated macht
QRated ist ein community-gestützter QR-Code- und Barcode-Sicherheitsscanner. Er hilft dir:
- Zu sehen, was in einem QR-Code ist, BEVOR du ihn öffnest
- URLs gegen eine Datenbank bekannter Bedrohungen zu prüfen
- Über URLs abzustimmen, um die Community zu schützen
- Verschiedene Barcode-Formate zu scannen (EAN, Code128, etc.)
3. Was QRated NICHT macht
QRated ist ein Werkzeug, um dir zu helfen, informierte Entscheidungen zu treffen. Es:
- Garantiert KEINEN 100%igen Schutz gegen alle Bedrohungen
- Ersetzt NICHT dein eigenes Urteilsvermögen und deinen gesunden Menschenverstand
- Bietet KEINE rechtliche, finanzielle oder Sicherheitsberatung
- Blockiert oder verhindert NICHT das Öffnen von URLs
⚠️ Wenn du eine URL öffnest, die als "Gefährlich" oder "Verdächtig" markiert ist, ist das deine Sache. Wir haben dich gewarnt.
4. Community-Voting & Verhaltenskodex
🤝 Die Community-Philosophie
"Andere schützen DICH" bedeutet, dass DU auch andere schützt. Stimme ehrlich ab. Stimme verantwortungsvoll ab.
Wenn du über eine URL abstimmst, stimmst du zu:
- Ehrlich abzustimmen – Markiere URLs nur als gefährlich, wenn sie es wirklich sind
- Nicht zu manipulieren – Erstelle keine Fake-Votes oder manipuliere das System
- Nicht zu missbrauchen – Nutze Voting nicht, um Konkurrenten zu schaden oder für persönliche Rachefeldzüge
Missbrauch des Voting-Systems kann führen zu:
- Entzug deiner Abstimmungsrechte
- Ungültigmachung deiner hashID
- Permanenter Ausschluss vom Service
5. hashID
Deine hashID ist dein anonymer Identifier im QRated-Ökosystem. Sie:
- Wird automatisch bei der ersten Nutzung generiert
- Enthält keine persönlichen Informationen
- Ist mit deinem Gerät verknüpft
- Kann bei Bedarf zurückgesetzt werden (aber deine Votes gehen verloren)
6. Datenschutz
Wir nehmen Datenschutz ernst. Wirklich ernst. Siehe unsere Datenschutzerklärung für alle Details. Die Kurzversion: #notyourdata.
7. Geistiges Eigentum
QRated, das QRated-Logo und alle zugehörigen Inhalte gehören Desteba Productions, S.L. Die Bedrohungsdatenbank und Community-Voting-Daten sind proprietär. Nicht kopieren, scrapen oder weiterverbreiten ohne Erlaubnis.
8. Haftungsbeschränkung
QRated wird "wie es ist" ohne Garantien bereitgestellt. Wir haften NICHT für:
- Schäden durch die Nutzung (oder Nicht-Nutzung) unserer Sicherheitsempfehlungen
- Falsch-Positive oder Falsch-Negative bei der Bedrohungserkennung
- Handlungen, die du basierend auf Community-Votes unternimmst
- Verlust von Daten, Einkommen oder irgendetwas anderem
9. Updates & Änderungen
Wir können diese Bedingungen aktualisieren. Wenn wir das tun, veröffentlichen wir die neue Version hier. Weitere Nutzung = Akzeptanz der neuen Bedingungen.
10. Kündigung
Wir können deinen Zugang beenden, wenn du gegen diese Bedingungen verstößt. Du kannst die Nutzung der App jederzeit beenden (aber warum solltest du?).
11. Anwendbares Recht
Diese Bedingungen unterliegen spanischem Recht. Streitigkeiten werden vor den Gerichten in Alicante, Spanien, verhandelt.

1. Aceptación de Términos
Al descargar, instalar o usar QRated ("la App"), aceptas estos Términos y Condiciones. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses la App. Simple.
2. Qué hace QRated
QRated es un escáner de seguridad de códigos QR y de barras potenciado por la comunidad. Te ayuda a:
- Ver qué hay dentro de un código QR ANTES de abrirlo
- Verificar URLs contra una base de datos de amenazas conocidas
- Votar sobre URLs para ayudar a proteger a la comunidad
- Escanear varios formatos de códigos de barras (EAN, Code128, etc.)
3. Qué NO hace QRated
QRated es una herramienta para ayudarte a tomar decisiones informadas. NO:
- Garantiza protección al 100% contra todas las amenazas
- Reemplaza tu propio juicio y sentido común
- Proporciona asesoramiento legal, financiero o de seguridad
- Bloquea o impide que abras URLs
⚠️ Si eliges abrir una URL marcada como "Peligrosa" o "Sospechosa", es tu responsabilidad. Te advertimos.
4. Votación Comunitaria y Código de Conducta
🤝 La Filosofía Comunitaria
"Otros te protegen" significa que TÚ también proteges a otros. Vota honestamente. Vota responsablemente.
Cuando votas sobre una URL, aceptas:
- Votar honestamente – Solo marca URLs como peligrosas si realmente lo son
- No manipular – No crees votos falsos ni manipules el sistema
- No abusar – No uses la votación para dañar competidores o por venganzas personales
El abuso del sistema de votación puede resultar en:
- Eliminación de tus privilegios de votación
- Invalidación de tu hashID
- Prohibición permanente del servicio
5. hashID
Tu hashID es tu identificador anónimo en el ecosistema QRated. Es:
- Generado automáticamente en el primer uso
- No contiene información personal
- Está vinculado a tu dispositivo
- Puede reiniciarse si es necesario (pero perderás tus votos)
6. Privacidad
Nos tomamos la privacidad en serio. Muy en serio. Consulta nuestra Política de Privacidad para todos los detalles. La versión corta: #notyourdata.
7. Propiedad Intelectual
QRated, el logo de QRated y todo el contenido relacionado son propiedad de Desteba Productions, S.L. La base de datos de amenazas y los datos de votación comunitaria son propietarios. No copies, extraigas ni redistribuyas sin permiso.
8. Limitación de Responsabilidad
QRated se proporciona "tal cual" sin garantías. NO somos responsables de:
- Daños por usar (o no usar) nuestras recomendaciones de seguridad
- Falsos positivos o falsos negativos en la detección de amenazas
- Acciones que tomes basándote en votos de la comunidad
- Pérdida de datos, ingresos o cualquier otra cosa
9. Actualizaciones y Cambios
Podemos actualizar estos términos. Si lo hacemos, publicaremos la nueva versión aquí. Uso continuado = aceptación de los nuevos términos.
10. Terminación
Podemos terminar tu acceso si violas estos términos. Puedes dejar de usar la App en cualquier momento (pero ¿por qué lo harías?).
11. Ley Aplicable
Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de España. Cualquier disputa se resolverá en los tribunales de Alicante, España.
